This is the funeral chapter just so yah know. i was so happy to get this over with. i was worried about writing it and i think it's a little weak but, oh well. life goes on right? hahaha enjoyy
------------------------------------------
Lucy's P.O.V:
We arrive at the church and walk in. I'm immediately surrounded by family and friends, hugging me and telling me their 'deepest sympathies'. Is this a hallmark card? They ask questions about the Jonas' and I tell my family the truth but then tell my friends that they are just my friends. I told my Aunt Ann the complete truth and how much I loved Nick and everything and she seemed to smile.
"invite me to the wedding alright?" she says smiling. I laugh and roll my eyes. "I'm serious. I want to go to the wedding." she says giving me one last hug.
The casket is placed in the side of the front room with flowers surrounding it. I walk slowly over to it and take a look inside. I see my mother laying quietly and unmoving inside. She looks so serene and happy it almost makes me want to smile but knowing that I never got to say goodbye will make that smile quickly turn to tears. Nick walks over and grasps my hand and gives it a squeeze. I look over, to see him looking down into my mother's face. He closes his eyes and lets a tear slip.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I ask almost crying myself.
"I just wish I could have been able to meet her. Meet the woman who has taken care of the love of my life. Meet the woman who created her." he says with a smile.
"Shut up. You'll make me cry." I say playfully but sorrowfully.
"it's a funeral. You're allowed." he says smiling. I look into his eyes and see the caring, truthful, loving man that he is. I give his hand a squeeze and begin to lean in, to kiss him when I see some girls walk into the church. I quickly strip my hand out of his. He looks up shocked but then sees the reason.
"Jonas fans?" he asks. I nod and he walks away quickly.
I follow but quickly slip to the back of the Jonas family group and when they walk down the aisle to the front of the church, I slip into the back row. No one seems to notice, thank you baby Jesus. I begin to think back to all the times with my mom and remember her smile. The funeral begins and the Pall bearers, my Uncle Steve, Uncle Bill, my cousin Ryan, and Jerry, my mom's best friend, walk the casket down the aisle. Jerry seems to be crying but that wont stop him from carrying his best friend down the aisle. I'm pretty sure he'd rather she'd walked down the aisle to greet him in a white dress with a big honking ring on her left hand but unfortunately life is too harsh to let that happen. Having Jerry as a step dad would have been cool but he's better as a friend.
The ceremony starts and we stand and sit when the priest commands. As it goes on I can feel myself getting worse and worse and more emotional. I begin to just sob, like every other woman in this church. Mrs. Jonas, Maya, and Danielle are even crying! And of course, so is Paris. I sit down even though everyone should be standing and just let my emotions take control. I hate it when I cry but when I reapplied my make-up I put on water-proof so I wont look quite as bad as I did.

"Tissue?" I hear a shaky voice ask. I look up and see Paris. I quickly stand up and drape my arms around her and we cry into each other. My mom was like a mom to her as well. She spent more time at my house than her own and my mother thought of her as a second daughter. So this is hard on both of us. I pull away and smile. We sit down and I take like 20 tissues, out of the box. "Plan on stuffing your bra? I dont think you need to, hun." she says jokingly. We both quietly laugh and dry our tears off, little by little.

The Pall bearers are now walking my mom out of the building. Paris and I continue to sit down and wait. I see Nick come down the aisle behind a humongous procession of people. He notices me sitting down and walks over to us. He holds out his arms and I immediately get up and hug him. It's almost a reflex. Whenever he's in the room it's like an, 'Oh! He's here! Better gravitate towards him before I explode.' kind of thing. Haha I feel a little better now that I'm with him and Paris.
"PARIS!" I hear a guy shout. Sounds like a Joe. Shocker. I turn around and notice Paris, passed out, on the church floor. Oh for the love of God! Please give me one week of complete happiness!
