Our group Traps, neuters and returns feral cats to their colonies. We then feed them daily and monitor and retrap if they get sick. We separate the kittens and socialize them for adoptions...and we do our best if the adult can be...too...We pull from our shelter and spend our own money to feed, house and vet the homeless throw a way animals...we pull each day but can never save enough. But we still try...I have 5 kittens now that need a ride from Gastonia NC to Rhode Island..

Its an animal holocaust in these animal control places.The aspca and humane society are funded and THEY CAN"T WORK RIGHT..this is nothing but wasted money that should go to the shelters who are breaking their necks and out on the streets finding homes..we are funding daily euthanasia..its disgusting ..I will not give a dime to theses places anymore because I know good shelters and what they do..

One things for sure, The ASPCA and HSUS get PLENTY of funding 100MILLION a year on average and they are NOT NOKILL.. HSUS and ASPCA boths send the "PUPPY MILL RESCUES" to city HS all over this nation.. MANY go to some of the highest kill rate shelters in the nation. Places like Atlanta HS, Chicago, Nashville.. Even Small shelters like Oxford Mississippi after the raid here a couple years back where they SAVED 98 dogs. Oxford has a 70% KILL RATE? Hell of a rescue huh?

This is a good video however, I believe that they really breezed over a really important and 100% necessary part of the "no kill equation" which is FUNDING. During an economy like todays it's hard to get ppl to donate money! Instead of just talking about no kill nation, perhaps doing a video on how one expects, small rural communities, especially in the midwest and the south, where the community culture toward companion animals is different, to fund these great shelters and spay/neuter programs.
