Kenya boasts of only 13 qualified neurosurgeons despite the ever-increasing number of casualties with brain injuries in hospitals across the country. This week though, the world federation of neurosurgical society held a two-day training in Nairobi to educate upcoming neurosurgeons in the continent. Sylvia Chebet sheds some light on this intricate subject.
