@actsmurderer Picnicface is just annoying compared to Odenkirks comedy.. hopefully Regal productions knocks those other guys off the air, it's making comedy channel hard to watch. I wouldent be surprised if some sketches were borrowing.

Mid 90's - when i used to stay up late and watch Rage. One of my favorite music videos was a Yo La Tengo song "Sugarcube".
about 5 years ago i downloaded Mr Show on the advice of others - funny stuff with David Cross & Bob Odenkirk. Last month i watched Sugarcube for the first time in nearly 15 years. Holy shit its David & Bob.
Now im watching breaking Bad for the first time - Bob is a fucking legend.

Reminds me so much of a cheezy Chicago 'attorney-at-law' commerical. Come to think of it, this guy grew up in Naperville, part of Chicagoland!

has anyone seen the "lawyers" sketch from the picnicface guys?
just i was watching this episode and i'd seen lawyers ages ago... the picnicface sketch came out in jan 08 but according to imdb, that's when the pilot aired... the episode in question was only shown in april 09!
surely they could do something about that? i dunno if there's a rational explanation but it jus doesnt seem like an homage and neither really acknowledges it... surely not coincidental...?

Nah, every town has the sleazy lawyer plastering his face everywhere. It's ripe for parody and has been done many times. The Picnicface guys weren't the first. Plus, it perfectly fits the plot of the show...
