The CoroMill 210 is a very productive high feed face mill
and plunge milling cutter. It is an outstanding product to use when high metal removal rate is the first priority. The 10° entering angle allows extreme feed rates when face milling. This directs the cutting forces in an axial direction which provides a stable cutting action and no vibration tendency. The cutter body with coolant through (together with coolant screws for arbor mounting) and the new E-xM geometry gives excellent performance in specific demanding materials (e.g. Titanium).

  • I believe this video was filmed before 1030 grade was released, but now it would be my first choice in mixed steel and stainless production environments.

  • Looks like it's cutting through butter :)

  • @douro20... no its a Matsuura, we have 5 of them.. same pullstud spec and labeled in the same spot on the head cover.

  • it looks like he is using a capto arbor with a bt or cat 40 adapter

  • I'm pretty sure this machine is an Okuma.

  • @jh4dc5s I disagree, ISCAR has great quality, just try. Sandvik mmmh... more less.

  • slow and full of chatter

  • '

    what kind of metal block

  • @GVCA57 Iscar is Israeli crap tooling. Some of their Milling tools are ok but their Lathe Tooling is complete junk

  • Not much DOC tho... I bet those inserts don't last too long slowing down to make inside corners like that either. almost too much lead? Not sold yet.

  • I have tried both tools and ISCAR is better because gives higher productivity
