7th Grade DRIVE Player Arminder Manhas demonstrates
Post Up and Unders.
Go towards the middle of the court - sometimes called "midline"
Take off 2 feet to avoid the travel call
Finish outside hand
Sell the shot fake.
Great for post players of all ages, even practiced in the NBA.

  • Not a travel, watch any college/pro player. They do this all day long. I can't believe that it is even being disputed.

  • YOU TRAVELED THIS VIDEO IS TRASH WHOEVER LIKE THIS IS -__-

  • wtf is that on his head?

  • This is a great move. Actually he could take a more pronounced step. You may lift your pivot foot in the case of a pass or shot (it just can't come down again). Huge misperception in basketball that this is a travel. Refs will sometimes get confused too. Too many people evaluate travelling by instinct, and not by the mechanics of the rule.

  • @EnvyMV3 you're an idiot. the violation of traveling involving your pivot foot isn't actually the act of picking it up but putting it back down. In your words, a jumpshot is travelling. moron.

  • @drivefitness

    0:03 left pivot foot established

roughly half a second late,r right pivot foot off ground and jumping off right foot

  • @UniversalCrew72 It is a travel because once you establish the pivot and come to a stop your next step is considered the second and both feet have to leave the floor at the same time, It is the same with a jump stop. It would have had to been a continuation move for it not to have been a travel. The NBA does not call it b/c they wanted more scoring for entertainment purposes. The college ranks make that call evry time.

  • @EnvyMV3 are u fucking blind u fag?

  • u need to protect the ball

  • What the fuck are you guys talking about. His fucking pivot foot was stationary the whole. Down and under, you you establish a pivot foot and fake in a different direction. Its only one step. Get off here and stop hating.
