@bobfttw I'm not sure to be honest. All NEW Action Replays should be shipped with the latest firmware, but then again Datel is a lazy company so they probably don't do that.

@bradthegeeknet Then your best bet is to purchase one off eBay and just ask the seller what firmware it is on (if it doesn't state it already in the description), and if they can update it for you to 1.71.

@chaoslordSP You could try doing an ARDS Reset. To do a reset, you will need to hold down A+B+START+SELECT on the Nintendo DS BEFORE the Nintendo logo appears.

my Action replay card has stopped working i installed in my computer (i've used it before but it was deleted few months back) and then i connect it to the computer nothing happens it keeps search for the ds but does find it at all and when i try to update it. it tells me to connect to the computer but its already connect to the computer

You got the good action replay, the one with the port that is universal, like I got a OLD action replay with the 3 inch long cord and it fucked the port on my action replay because it's so flimsy but you have the good one, I hate having to shell out 20 more dollars for a new one now

step 1. have the ar disk installed

step 2. Plug in your action replay

Step 3. Right click at the top left.

Step 4. Click about action replay

Step 5. click reset hardwear.

It will reset your action replay, all of your codes will be gone but they give you the preloaded codes, and the red screen will be gone. HAPPY CHEATING!

Is it possible to let your Flash Card work as a Action Replay?

So that you load the Action Replay rom at your flash card, insert some codes, remove the flash card and insert a NDS game.
