The standard e-mail system, which has been around for many years, is very secure. The problem is, a lot of people don't know how to use it properly.
This video will show you how to use e-mail the way it's meant to be used.

A better alternative to creating your own Certificate Authority or getting a Certificate from Comodo, may be to get one from CAcert instead...

Thunderbird makes REAL e-mail security possible. Web Mail security is just "security by obscurity". That goes for Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and every other company that sells the contents of your personal & private e-mails to the highest bidders.
Just a quick word of warning people: I sent this to a friend. She said that she's okay because she doesn't use Hotmail, she uses Gmail. This indicates that some people may have missed the point. This is NOT a Hotmail vulnerability! This is an E-mail vulnerability! It doesn't matter whether you use Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc. You can receive fake email no matter which web mail service you happen to be using. And that company has unencrypted access to all of your email.

@J2897Tutorials by dodgy I just mean it sounds really strange. I can understand it fine, but why not just do a voice over yourself? why use that synthesized voice? could always borrow a mic if you don't have one :P

@MrNoodge It probably sounds strange because I tried to "robotise" it in Audacity; because it originally sounded too realistic and I didn't want people to think it was a real person. I use voice overs because I sometimes lose track of my speech due to a brain condition, and because people in a lot of English speaking countries have difficulty understanding the Mancunian accent.

@MrNoodge Type this into Google and you'll see what I mean about the realism..

what's with the dodgy voice over?
MrNoodge 2 months ago
@MrNoodge Dodgy? Does that mean that you can't understand what she's saying? If so, I thought that might be a problem. That's why I included as much text as possible instead of completely relying on the narration.
