Oh I see... When mine is in 2WD it is in only 2WD not AWD so thats why i didn't understand LoL! With mine when it is in 4WD Lock it locks the front and rear differential so all wheels move at the same speed which is AMAAZZINNGG for off road and slipery conditions. I think the Patriot is like that too. The only difference between the liberty and the patriot drive train is when in 2WD the liberty is only in 2wd while the patriot is in AWD.

Is the Jeep patriot front or rear wheel drive when in 2 wheel drive?? I got a 2008 Jeep Liberty the totally new designed one and it is rear and has 4 wheeel drive and i do donuts lol but ya are you in 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive in this video?

Its AWD when the 4x4 lock isn't engaged, and with traction control off it does all wheel spins very very well, because the wheels can spin at different speeds. Makes donuts supremely fun.
