Sir Richard Branson and Virgin America celebrated the launch of its new upscale, low fare service to DFW Airport in grand Texas-style with a BBQ luncheon on the DFW tarmac. A traditional BBQ lunch was catered by Eddie Deen's and a mini-herd of longhorn steer were brought in from the Ft. Worth Stockyards for the occasion.

Virgin America will begin initially with non-stop daily flights to Los Angeles. On December 6, flights to San Francisco (SFO) will begin. To see more from this media event, visit http://www.ohsocynthia.com.

  • Actually it's VX to DFW, not Dallas, that would be Dallas Love Field.

Fort Worth PSGRS are rather sensitive to this!
