I basically gave up MLB after the last strike & refuse to support the sport in any way during this mind-bogglingly idiotic and unwatchable pitch-count era. "My team", fwiw, is the Yanks' opponent on any given night, although I used to casually root for them somewhat as a kid in the '70s before "seeing the light" circa 1999.

Quit trying to cover up your teams irrelevent play with the yankees struggling. We had a terrible team and a terrible year, yet the yankees were able to push it to game 6. Plus the yankees had a ton of injuries. Arod missed a lot of time, teixeira was playing with a broken toe and a heavliy bruised thumb, pettitte was out for a long time. U need to learn the game.

@jsizzle456 The Red Sox DID have a LOT of injuries. But if they had at least one of their starters healthly all year they would have beat out the Yankees. What a pathetic second half and playoff run they had, you losers should be proud of that payroll. The Yankees have 1 injury and all we hear is the whinning in the media looking for sympathy.
