I feel compelled to comment on the postings that were alluding to the health of BRT's.
There are plenty of reputable breeders out there if you make the effort to find them.
To make general statements about a breed because of the health problems of a particular dog is irresponsible.
To be dismissive of a breed due to a lack of knowledge is hardly a legitimate opinion.
My BRT's teeth are quite large and healthy.

There are also i lot of breeds that have health problems because of show breeders ,we use to own a Neapolitan Mastiff show type and the problems with him was never endding we also owned akiats there was not many problems with them but we now own 2 female ovcharkas and in my eyes the best breed i could ever own :)

Then completely agree. All breeds, which were quickly withdrawn (20-30 years) have a huge hidden health problems because of bad genetics.

I think you need to read it again ! he was not talking the ovcharkas he was talking about the RBT ! ''russians their teeth fall out they dont live very long'' Which is ture i know many breeders of the RBT.
