are you intentionaly leaving room in apexes for the boys? something i dont like about switching from 3rd to 4th gear. Never done laguna on RC51; do you still use the tree to right as a marker for aligning yourself for 3rd corner entrance? it was beautiful day. cheers

Buddy, you're supposed to upshift between 5 and 6 (and then down 1 gear for Turn 6), also, you're backing off the throttle at the top of turn one.

"RC51 Basic Racer" - hella funny

It is a 'Factory Basic Racer". HRC produced three versions of the RC-51 in 2001; the street version, the Basic Racer, and the Advanced Racer. The Basic Racer had Akra pipes, upgraded suspension, a stripped-down wiring harness (and of course lacked all of the bits that would normally have connected to it - like lights, the speedo, etc.), and lrace bodywork. it sold for $16k. The Advanced Racer was essentially Colin Edwards bike. it sold for $100k.
