Jazz Festival 2009 - Monday

The Austrian Cultural Forum NY, Jazz Standard, and Joe's Pub present Jazz Festival 2009, "The Diverse Dialects of Jazz", running from 10/12/09 to 10/16/09. We feature the best music and musicians of both the New York and Austrian jazz scene and the intermingling of the two diverse dialects of jazz.

The first set on Monday featured solo pianist Robert Lehrbaumer playing Gershwin, Haydn, Einem, Cech, and Previn.

The second set featured Gene Pritsker, Don Barrett, Charles Coleman, Franz Hackl, Michiyo Suzuki, Stephan Kondert, Dave Taylor, Greg Baker, and Roland Heinz, playing original compositions by Gene Pritsker himself.
