A look at the first floor of the Golden Nugget a day before the ceremony. Couldn't make to the ceremony? Don't worry MrBoardwalk.net has you covered! You can also reach MrBoardwalk.net at www.angelfire.com/nj/wwbysea
I'm glad I got to see it one more time but it was really tough to see it in it's current state, stripped and gutted. There will never be another like it.
aahh memories. the moreys tried so hard to get this ride up and running again. but couldnt meet new jersey standards. all those years of trying to get it back up and running it came down to this.... GUTTED!! I loved and still love this ride. even though the last time i rode it was back in the late 90s....when i was just under 7 or 6 years old. the best they can do is make a replica. which they should do. rip :( we miss you
When I was young, my family would vacation to WIldwood every summer and my Favourette attraction was the Gold Nugget. I looked forward to all year. I'm sad that it's no longer with us.
