Casanova (David Tennant) - Let Me Go

Once upon a time many moons back when PirateTillTheEnd first got Final Cut Pro she was absolutely clueless. At first she gave up and thought it would be best to just stop editing although, but with the encouragement of Lizsjarofdirt she kept trying. Shortly after in August 2008 she made this video after have seen the BBC's version of Casanova with David Tennant.

I stumbled upon this very old video with very few effects and pretty much just clip to lyrics editing and thought "why not make it widescreen, stick your logo on it and share it with the Youtube community?" So that's what I did and that's the reason for the lack of effects, back then I didn't know how to find them let alone use them. I don't have any Casanova clips any more or the original project so I can't go back and fix it.

I do hope that you enjoy this video and if you haven't seen this movie yet I highly recommend it. I think this movie was the reason David landed the role as the 10th Doctor. He's very Doctor-like in this movie, which I think is hilarious given the Doctor's personality.

This video is rated PG-13 and pretty tame considering the context of the movie.

Oh Gosh... very nice. The only regret is you can no longer have it HD, but frankly, have no regrets as to what it was back then... it's the first achievement you made that kept you going on, along with the support of your friend. I think that alone makes that video as special as can be. Beside, since it's not SciFi DrWho alike, I enjoy it pretty much as it is, you seem to overlook the time consuming it was to make it still... editing, sync.. that's tough. so Congrats! you rock!!!!! xoxo Fanch

Yeah it is confusing, never used iMovie before but I've heard it's pretty good. Final Cut does have a lot though that many other editing programs don't so it's worth going through it and testing stuff out :)

Yeah I tried, its damn confusing. I tried tuts just can't quite get it. I think iMovie's good enough for me at the moment. xD

Thank you so much! It really takes experimentation. First you need to learn the basics like importing, cutting, unlocking audio and video and then you can experiment with effects and transitions. Try watching tutorials on youtube I found that helped as well. If you have any questions on how to do something feel free to ask me. Good luck!
