Katoucha Niane, ex-égérie de Yves Saint Laurent, née le 30 décembre 1960, à Conakry (Guinée) morte à Paris le 1er février 2008, dite « la Princesse Peule », est mannequin et l'une des premières tops models noires. Katoucha Niane est la fille de Djibril Tamsir Niane, historien, écrivain et archéologue, diplômé de l'université de Bordeaux et recteur d'université.

Katoucha Niane (October 23, 1960 in Conakry, Guinea -- February 2, 2008 in Paris, France) was a French model. Nicknamed "The Peul Princess" (in reference to her ethnic Fula background), she worked, and later wrote, under the single name "Katoucha". She was the daughter of author, playwright and historian Djibril Tamsir Niane.
