Great Injustices of Our Time, 1914-2009

Tyranny has inflicted much damage on humanity in the past century. This slideshow is an attempt to commemorate the dead of these genocides, conflicts, and wars. Obviously, there are hundreds more examples of injustices committed in the past 100 years, but I have chosen to depict those that are most accessible to me in terms of verifying facts and figures. I understand some people may have strong feelings about certain events depicted in this video, but please keep your language respectable or you will be blocked and your comments deleted IMMEDIATELY! do not argue for the number of accuracies or civil wars it is not fair , most of these victims were innocent civilians, think of yourself as a refugee suffering hunger, try to be in other people's shoes, would you like to be a baby and your mother killed? just think in a more humane way

these are all terrible events but everybody knows that numbers for these events are completely unreliable. I only know of the Bosnian and Croatian conflicts and it is a FACT that there was no genocide there it was simply a civil war between Croats, Muslims and Serbs and that at most 100,000 people died.

EXCELLENT! So many dreams, so many hopes ended, so many human beings piled up, and this was in the 20th and 21st centuries. Those of us who dreamed in the 70's, used to think that the future would be of peace and understanding. The massacres, genocide and ethnic cleansing go on, Gaza, Iraq, Darfur...

I still hope that things will change.
