u shouldnt need to wait that long at one wrap at a time that will take months i like to get it over with in a week or two with tape because i dnt liek the feelin of it in my ear

Teflon tape does not dry out your ears. Why do you think SO many and probably all tattoo shops and professional body piercers recommend it?

teflon tape doesnt absorbe all it does for pipes is prevent it from leaking and or not striping the teeth....
also use jojoba oil went taping... basically if you lube up your ear with it gauges pop right in plus if you use it even putting any gauges in it is really good for your skin and will keep your hole healthy
