Music Video for song 'One Sure Fine Thing' by UK band Softwhere.
Mash-up of an imaginative version of the old folktale, directed in 1931 by Harry Bailey and John Foster. From The Big Cartoon Database:
"In this version of the story, Grandma's got more bite than the wolf! After drinking a magic "jazz tonic," Grandma feels young again, and the fun begins. The wolf is astonished when he finds a flirtatious, smoking flapper at the house in the woods. He may be big and bad, but he can't help falling in love. Do we hear the dinner bell or wedding bells? The wolf-Grandma wedding is halted at the last minute when the wolf's wife gets wind of the ceremony. She and their many cubs - all carrying rolling pins - storm the church."
