Corporal punishment is both more cost effective and generally more effective than the United States penal system. We have been building a prison system the size of Spain and growing a police state for the past several decades. Corporal punishment helps take us one step farther away from the fascism we are entering now, with the militarized police, marriage of corporations and government, and the oppressed first and second amendment rights.

Haha, it's so funny when spankers have no way to defend themselves, so they use their only defense mechanism which is to shout "Spare the rod and spoil the child!" That only makes them look worse, because as you said, the "rod" was used for guidance, not beating.
