yay skreetards!

Ok - here they are demonstrating the Jaw JErk reflex, or Maxillary reflex. It is a reflex that is not present in normal adults, but which appears in Upper motor neouron lesions. When you press inwards on the half open jaw, it tends to try to shut.
Yemen, stop giving out wrong information.

In the second part, he seems to be testing a reflex, and gets a positive sign. Like in some abnormal situation, stimulation of the sensory part of the mandibular branch of CN V, results in exication of the motor part and hence the chewing movement.
I am only thinking out loud..

I really dont know what they are showing her Yemen :-)... I just wanted to take contribute to the discussion of the neuroanatomy. I can try to find out, and the write her again.
If I remember correctly, CN V controls 4 muscles involved in chewing. 2 of them, are involved in tension of the soft palate as well, and it may seem like he tries to show is the movement of the palate in the first part. I cant tell what is wrong.

so ? what is it?

That is not entirely correct Yemenjapan.
The trigeminal nerve is cranial V. It has 3 divisions that is responsible for SENSATION in the face. Opthalmic, maxillary and mandibular. The mandibular exits from the mandibular foramen, but has not motor function.
But you are right that it innervates a couple of muscles that performs chewing, and i guess these branches start in the infratemporal fossa... ?
First video:
Interpretation of left sided trigeminal nerve damage (motor part) -> during mouth opening the chin deviates to the affected (left) side.
Second video:
Jaw (masseter) reflex:
We can elicit it in normal persons. It can be depressed when there is damage of components of reflex arch. It can be brisky (increased) in upper motoneuron lesions.
