i may be wrong but i belive this entire album was made by Neil more as a slap in the face to his record company who demanded a "rock" album. This is what they got

He was sued for NOT producing for his record companies albums and songs sounding like Neil Young, even though he was Neil Young. The record company won. Only in Jurisprudence could they figure that one out!
