It's kind of a catch 22; How can true dharma even properly be taught, by a teacher who doesn't understand this simple principle? I was in a path 10 years ago - which required $9,500 for me to realize, that this very fee alone is evidence enough that there was something a-miss with my guru. I later found the teachings to be plagiarized from a mix of other works-- works which helped me in many ways. Although the 'guru' deception took it's toll. It's taken a decade to recover.. I'm still recovering

@ultannizing I am so sorry to hear of your awful experience! Westerners are very gullible in this. We have no cultural history of experience with authentic teachers. Imagine a priest charging for confession! But people have trouble seeing the obvious. Time will rectify this I'm sure, but in the meantime, many get exploited, as were you. Best wishes to you, and true healing for you heart!
