this song works in Jacobs point of view "white demon shadow on the road" he's talking about Edward leaving a shadow or scar on Bella "back up your mind there is a call" Jacob (he likes Bella) she has him too. "he isnt coming after all" Jacob trying to convince Bells that Edwards not coming back "she likes the way he sings, white demon love songs in her dreams" this refers to Edward when he used to hum the lullaby to her, and how its haunting her in her sleep.

"white demon where's your selfish kiss" jacob pretty much telling Edward off, that he's not there any more to 'steal' her "white demon sorrow we'll arrange" bells sorrow "lets not forget about the fear" referring to Edward being a vampire Jacob reminding Bella what he was "black invitation to a place that cannot change" Jacobs struggle to fix bell's heart (place that cannot change) "white demon why did your heart stole" why'd you have to steal Bella, the rest is really in Jacobs pov

This is my favorite song on the "New Moon" soundtrack. The beat is riveting and the words are right on. Congrats to the group. I have never heard them before. The movie was well done and I think the music really help elevate it.

the harmony is perfect; you can't pick out the second voice but you know it's there and it complements the main voice perfectly!

this song was in the credits <3 :)
I love the killers, though this may not be their best song, I would still listen to it. Still, I think that maybe "For Reasons Unknown," fit better for New Moon's story line, or maybe even one of their more recent songs like the haunting "Goodnight, Travel Well." Those would have been perfect, but whatever, I still love the Killers! Can't wait to hear this in the movie =)

Think about it this way: If they would've used one of their previous songs, then we wouldn't have been able to listen to this song (probably). But I agree with you...For Reasons Unknown or Goodnight, Travel Well would have fit PERFECTLY! But I'm glad they didn't use either...:).
