Super Amanda : Sitting at The Savoy

Super Amanda strolls into the legendary Savoy Hotel in London, England, crosses her legs, displays lavish décolletage and waits for teatime.
Super Amanda is a singer, actess and writer who also works with the Bay Area Paul Robeson Centennial Committee. Ironically Paul Robeson was refused service at the Savoy Grill in 1929 beacuse he was black. The issue was raised with Ramsay MacDonald, the British prime minister, who although condemned the behaviour of the restaurant he claimed "I cannot think of any way in which the Government can intervene." It was later discovered that the Savoy Grill had refused to serve Robeson after complaints had been made about his presence by white American tourists staying in London. ... (more) (less)

I love this hotel. I stayed in it when I was 7 and last year.  It isn't as great anymore. Out toilet was broken to whole time, they don't serve dinner anymore and you can't see the river. It is in a great location though. You very close to the London Eye, Rules, Buckingham Palace, and the globe theater.
