  • Who's announcing, and where did you get this? Is this a TV broadcast? I didn't even know they did a TV broadcast of this game, it certainly looks like an early one from the 60s when AD's were wary to let cameras out of the press box.

  • I don't think it's a TV broadcast. I think it's footage shot by OSU matched up with radio announcers. One of their names is mentioned at 7:53....I think his name is Chuck Collins?

The Michigan fan I met online who I trade games with provided me with this game.

  • thanks Andy for this video this was my first M osu game I watched way back when been a Michigan fan ever since

  • I know one of defensive ends on that team he's #94 Jerry Mader he coaches the defensive line for my high school football team so he played with all these guys Volk and Bill Yearby among others

  • @dramusic Tom Hemingway wrote a book in the mid-1980s called "Life Among The Wolverines" which is a great read if you can find it.

  • Thanx for posting hits nostalgic video.

I remember DB Rick Volk having a great career with the Colts. But he had a bad game vs the Jets in the Super Bowl as he was KO'd by Matt Snell in a helmet 2 helmet collision. Still, he played a few more successful years.

  • 2:02 C'MON MAN!!!

  • This is really great stuff. My dad is the center on this team. Really cool to be able to watch this stuff. Go Blue!

Thanks WoverineHistorian! He got a kick out it when I showed this to him

  • Kind of like Rich Rod after Lloyd now.
