This film deals with the great change and re-development that is happening in Belfast at the moment, showing all the cranes in town, along with what individual people think of the change.

a film i made for my MA in Film at Queen's University Belfast.

  • i have to say that construction is my bread and butter has been from i left school and without construction cranes i cant earn i like most of the new buildings its better than what we grew up with and yes they do put money into local communities as it provides work for locals

  • @ondrew3000 it did but they are popping back up again i havent been out of work

  • Excellent

If a quarter of all construction cranes are in Dubai, are teh rest in Belfast?

Will credit crunch lead to crane crunch?

  • Very interesting! As someone from N.Ireland who has spent the last 4 and a half years abroad without returning, Belfast does seem like a different place today. Nice film.
