I have an IT program question. My burning question is, I keep hearing that this is great for someone who already has experience in the field but needs the degree, what if I have NO experience in the field but feel that I could learn better this way? I am 24 with some GE done and work 40 hrs/week. I am a good self teacher, but have taken only one Infosystems class. I am pretty computer savvy but have no formal IT experience. Would WGU work for me?

Dont be discouraged! The best bet is to speak with an enrollment counselor. Enrollment counselors at WGU are very knowledgeable about the degree programs and what it takes to succeed in them.

By all the homework, I was referring to the COURSE OF STUDY work that you would not have to take if you actually knew it. If all you want is a diploma without actually proving you can do anything, I am sure there are other colleges that will gladly run you through assignments, and tasks, and papers, then 3-4 tests plus a final and not be concerned if you actually retain anything or learn anything beyond the test.

i have an associates in nursing and my RN, i am thinking of getting my BSN. This school sounds too good. I wanted to know if you guys know if this is a legit BSN, if its recognized in california and if the BSN received here is good enough to be accepted to a graduate program? Just looking for online schools but not sure which one to choose.
