Tinting paint will be available from your local car accessories store for around £10 a can. Remember to use two coats of clearcoat once you have reached your desired tint level. Use a regular car polish 24 hrs after applying clearcoat to give your lights that final shiny showroom finish.

  • @adamH108TAWhy is it necessary to use sand paper on the tail light?

  • @09shamsabadis because paint does not stick to a shiny smooth surface very well

  • Would pressure washing my car or going threw a car wash bring this paint off though? Or will it stay on?

  • @TheVampireknight44 the car in the video has been pressure washed several times now and the paint has been fine.

  • How many bottles u use to do this?

  • @dREAMING805 2 spray cans

  • to clear up any questions

1x spray can of VHT Niteshades spraycan paint

2x sheets of 1200-2000 grit sandpaper

    1x bucket of soapy water

1x 3M blue delicate masking tape for bits you dont want to spray

1x spray can of clear gloss/Laquer for protection otherwise Niteshade paint will chip

1x Cream Cut and Polish (like Macguire's Mother's etc.)

as far as coats go 3 is plenty. its very dark almost black. anything more than 3 and cops will look at it more and more.

follow video this video and win =)

  • you may want to switch all of your light bulbs to either LEDs or SMDs(much brighter) to compensate for the black coat.
