@mathewclarke96 Even Lee changed stances if one side got tired or whatever.

Thats girls looks hard as fuck

muay thai roundhouse starts with a step of the supporting leg in a 45° towards the opponent, so u can use your whole bodyweight for the kick and the kick goes "through" the opponent and you are closer, so you can hit with your shin ...it is more like a TKD 'roundkick' instead of a TKD 'roundhousekick'
TKD roundhouse is spinning on the supporting leg and the power comes from rotating the hips and spinning the body instead of moving it towards the opponent

@sammiedodgers not much... a tkd round kick though is more of a linear kick with the power coming from only the snap of kick rather than the full roundhouse which gets power from the rotation of the hip and the snap.

whats the difference between a muay thai roundhouse and say a karate or tkd roundhouse? just wondering

turn your hips over

The woman isnt in her right stance, Bruce Lee always fought in his right stance.

Nice power behind your kicks. seeing that the is virtually no snapping back to retrack your kicking leg, this style/technique is more "Muy Thai" like than JKD. In any case nice power and form behind you kick.

I like how he talks like he hates the letter G. "We're using the Thai boxin' trainin' method."

@Karl41Heinz a lot of ppl don't know what a low round house kick lol
That's the whole point of JKD. JKD, more than a martial art, is a philosophy. They believe that the best style is no style at all. It goes back to the whole "be like water" idea that Bruce Lee had (which I think is right).
They look at different martial arts, take the techniques that they think would work and get rid those they think won't.
But I agree, i've been doing muay thai for 3 years and it freaking kicks ass.
