  • yeah this is not 1200fps it's like 300-350 fps MAX

  • @grostire No, it's 1200 fps. Trust me, I've been having this argument for 2 years.

  • i just watched a movie on the cameras website, Exilim, and watched a 1200 FPS clip... this doesnt seem nearly as slow...

but i dont know much about this stuff, just going by what i just now observed

  • I can assure you that the video was filmed at 1200fps. As I mentioned earlier, I did expand the video size, but the playback speed is unaltered. I'm sorry my firecracker didn't explode slower for you.

  • thats not 1200fps, its more like 500

  • Listen, maybe you didn't read the other comments, so I'll paraphrase. This is 1200fps. I'm 100% positive. You are a moron.

  • @jAlcyone Um, no, you're missing the point completely. If the final framerate of the video were the point, you would not see any of the fine details of the subject being filmed. The fps of the source material is the only thing that matters in slow-motion video. In fact, nobody cares if the final material is 30fps, 24fps, or whatever.

YouTube did not speed up my video 400X. The video is still RECORDED at 1200fps. The reason it is slow motion is BECAUSE it is being played back at 30fps.

  • this is not 1200fps... its 12000fps ;) slashgearrrrrrrr readerrrrrrrr

  • DUUUUDDEE This video is sooo not 1200fps!!! (Regards from your SlashGear Reader!!!!) :D

  • ya dude it may not look like it, but it is blurry meaning it may have been smaller at one point (for the 1200 fps resolution) I think it might be 1200, but i dont know

  • It's not 1200fps dumbasses, it's obviously around 500, maybe 7.

  • this video is 1200fps you dumbasses

  • @philipberne What's the point of not altering the playback speed? If you make it 24 or 30fps than it will look a lot better.

  • does not look like 1200 fps... maybe the cam doesnt film TRULY at that speed... kinda like how some cameras boast they can film 1080P but its really 720P stretched... just my 2 cents
