  • whoa why is it still on jacks?

  • It's not still on jacks. This video is just from the first time I ever got the engine running. I've put over 8K miles on it since this vid was taken. I need to put a new one up :-)

  • what a shame.. simply disgusting!!! do not critize the rotary engine if you have no knowledge on how to build a reliable rotary engine. I have build tons of Xtremely powerful reliable rotary engines. your swap is simply wrong!!!

  • LOL, and how long did those rotary engines you built last though? I have a 400+hp motor that is as reliable as anything on the road. You're just plain ignorant.

  • props again, but i would keep the rotary. i think puting V8 in RX7 is not a good idea. it is destroying the ca completely. no 50/50 weight distribution anymore, no light nose and nible handling. but as far as you like it, i wish you and your car good luck ;)

  • I have a mid 11 second capable quarter mile car with world class handling to accompany it that is every bit as reliable as any new Corvette for under 20 grand total. There are few options on the planet that can compare in performance for the money

  • All you idiots on here whoa are talking trash on his motor swap, get out of here! I am an 89' Rx-7 owner and am planning on doing an LS1 swap sometime in the near future as well. It's a more reliable motor than the Rotary. I'm not hating on the rotary, I'm just saying that it's retarded to sit here and talk trash when a stock LS motor can push a ton more horse out than a stock rotary. SWEET SWAP!

  • that's pretty sweet... for an abomination

  • Yes that's sick ! No replacement for displacement ! Fuck that hamster wheel wankel she came with. And I was a certified rotary mechanic for years I worked on them they suck .

  • ROTARY

  • yap they are usually rebuild at 50000 miles . proof ? i did not mention rotary is more reliable than a V engine . im juz sayin tat if u tink V engine is more reliable than rotary , then u r obviously a noob when tuning a rotary . plus , all engines are equally as good . seriously man , i have heard wankers complain about rotary easily hot , bla bla , etc2 , load of rubbish . come on face the reality . a good mechanic noes tat . coz im sick of hearing ppl change to V becoz of complaining about

  • Interesting considering even well maintained, non-modded wankels in the RX-7 are usually replaced at 50,000miles or earlier..

where is your proof that a rotary is more reliable?

  • oki its 2nd time im gonna say this . ppl who tinks its more reliable is becoz they r retards when comes to fixing/tuning rotary fullstop . there is nothing more to say

  • I love both LSX series engines as well as the 13b, but it's their car and they can do with it what the like.

Plus LS engines are far more reliable than a 13B
