I've been waiting to hear this again since 1990. You know a track is great when hearing it again is just as good as the memory thats been floating around your head for years. Respect and love to the producer and singer on this track.

It's 1:05 where I turn up the bass!! Sometimes I wish I had skills with EJay, I'd loop a sample of the "dum dum dum dum" all night!! ;)

That's the first time I've heard the Hypnoteck track, it's not a bad tune, but very much mainstream house.
The Rickster track is the original riff and obviously has been sampled by Hypnoteck. Discogs is your best bet for checking release info and it has Rickster as 1988 and Hypnoteck as 1990. Although with a lot of the early house tunes they were around from 86 onward as cassetteses and dub plates before being released on labels as house took off. Cheers for the heads up. aka 6robski8.Peace.

BTW what was the first to use the main riff? Hypnoteck - Pump it up or Rickster?
Listen to Hypnoteck and you'll hear what I mean.

yes !!!!
One of those tracks that I just couldn't live without. What a tune, what a vocal..
Plays a bit fast but what the heck!
Hit the break at 4.00, turn it up loud and rock the house. :)
