YouTube iframe Embed Code

http://socialmediamarketingconsultancy.com/ If you are used to taking a YouTube Embed Code into your Wordpress site, you may have noticed some changes to the default code - it is now an iframe embed code and not the usual object embed code.

This is due to the fact that YouTube have recently started using a new way of embedding video into websites. They are using iframe. This is to utilise the new enhanced player which works better across platforms like HTML5 etc.

The YouTube iframe embed code will also make it easier for embedded videos to work on Apple products that don't allow flash.

There are a few issues as you would expect with new versions - but you still have an option of using the "old" code - the object embed code.

The good news is there is a Wordpress Plugin you can use for the iframe code - IFRAME Embed For YouTube

If you have problems with the iframe code then use the old embed code.
