It is a "shinobue" bamboo flute that was made with "shinodake".

A bamboo flute has a thing of various kinds, and a tone is not the same.

A pipe (a folk song of Japanese old epoch) for songs

A pipe of Japanese various districts

It is for festivals and is for folk songs and is for ceremonies.

As for the number of pin hole to hold with a finger, 6 and 7 are general.

good job. may i ask what kind of shinobue is that? im planning to get one but all the different styles and hon numbers is confusing the heck out of me. I know that i want the uta style..but what exactly is a hon? how much does yours have? much obliged.

笛が割れたので　今はこれで吹いています。

この笛は　トロロトロロ　と鳴ります。

唄口から　最初の穴まで18.5センチ程度ありあますよ。
