The Battle Mixes are usually a pretty tough nut to crack but Ke$has TikTok ended up being a good fit for the crews to battle it out to. This was not the original song slated for the battle and after doing several mixes of this battle with a whole different song, we switched gears because of the popularity of this club anthem. Considering the episode is labeled the Chart Topper Challenge it seemed more fitting then the Lil Jon song originally selected. We really enjoyed one of the first versions we did of this mix where she goes Wake up in the Morning feelin like then gets interrupted by Round One.

Hype and Noyze had good saves on this battle. Hype 5-0 with the police shut down and Static Noyze pulling an impressive clock move, Swagger crew was left without a leg to stand on. This was probably one of my favorite battles because of the music and teams involved.
