The reason this game is great is because when you play it, you forget that your even in a video game, and really get immersed into the game to the point where you deeply care about what's happening. It's so uncommon for a first person title to have this, which is why Bioshock deserves all the praise it's gotten!

I honestly shit my pants when I first saw this video... I mean Bioshock is probably by far one of the best games available... It will get you addicted and you will lose sense of reality. It brings a strange comfort to the individual that makes you admire everything about it... it's beauty, it's perfection is something to just.... just... breathtaking

@Jdshald Mass Effect has the best story in my opinion. You can't really lose with those three though. I'm good with any three of those being number one :)

@namelessfire for me in terms of story it goes: half life*, mass effect* and bioshock* in that order. but thats just my opinion. They are all great games. (*including all games in series that are part of the overall story)
