I heard this song for the first time last night on CMT Pure Country and yes it is a very beautiful song. I had no warning it would affect me the way that it did. My twenty year old son lost his precious girlfriend in a horrible car accident two months ago and the stark emptiness & pain & finality is more real now than when she was first taken from our lives. Thank You for your very touching song. And thanks to YouTube for the chance to hear it again and share it with my family.

That has to be the most beautiful song ever! i heard it at Brown's Chapel for the specials in Paragould,AR. I miss my Aunt Joy soooo much she died 5 years ago when she was 45 and I was 7. God blessed me soo much. and i never got 2 say goodbye. I love you and i will see you in heaven! RIP Aunt Joy!

I heard this song for the first time today. It's so perfect and beautiful for we who have lost someone very special. My wonderful hubby is gone, but this song lets me visualize him now. I miss him every day and we had something very unique in a marriage. Thank you for this song.

I was raised on bluegrass/gospel bluegrass and am a christian. With that said, I have heard many moving songs through my musical experiences but, at 25 years old, I can absolutely say that this is the most powerful song I have ever heard in my life.

i saw this for the first time tonight. it is beautiful. the writer is jimmy fortune of the statler brothers. i am sending this to my friend who lost her husband of many yrs after a long illness just a few weeks ago. i hope it gives her the comfort & peace she needs to get through this.
