Surely the two finest guitarists who ever lived,no disrepect to Mark Knopfler who must rank along side with these two absolute giants

'Chester & Lester' is one of the greatest albums of the 20th century, not just in the 'Country' classification but all kinds of music. I loved it from the moment I owned it -- LP, cassette tape, CD. I'm pretty sure it won some sort of Grammy.

i just got an unreleased c.d. of lester and chester from an elderly friend of the fam who used to be a singer in st louis. the story is theyre just jamming and "drunk as skunks"

What can you say.. The two most dominant guitar players from the 40's until now. Two different styles but both masters of their own and the standards by which all others are judged.
