this is more than rare its ultra rare

  • wow! Sounds fantastic!

  • What can you say.. The two most dominant guitar players from the 40's until now. Two different styles but both masters of their own and the standards by which all others are judged.

  • That about says it! Two giants, in class by themselves!

  • Surely the two finest guitarists who ever lived,no disrepect to Mark Knopfler who must rank along side with these two absolute giants

  • 'Chester & Lester' is one of the greatest albums of the 20th century, not just in the 'Country' classification but all kinds of music. I loved it from the moment I owned it -- LP, cassette tape, CD. I'm pretty sure it won some sort of Grammy.

  • Thanks for your posting of this Wonderful music, by 2 of the greatest guitar players of All Time.

  • perfection times two!

  • Great!!

It's track 2 off an album called 'Chester & Lester' released in 1976

Side One 1. "It's Been a Long, Long Time" 2. "Medly: Moonglow/Picnic" 3. "Caravan" 4. "It Had to Be You" 5. "Out of Nowhere"

Side two 1. "Avalon" 2. "The Birth of the Blues" 3. "Someday, Sweetheart" 4. "'Deed I Do" 5. "Lover, Come Back to Me"

  • where did you find this recording?

  • I go to the sky with this song!10!

  • To read up on Les Paul and Mary Ford, then go to researching facts about Chet in various internet places, you can't help but somehow wish you could have been a close friend to them both. It wouldn't have hurt either----if some of their talent rubbed off on you!!!

  • RIP les paul. you created a way of life for many of us out there..
