@mkaleemk hai, i had the same problem. i solved it to append a "shape instance" to my events in particle view.
there is a button where you can select geometry for your particles. I made a small raindrop out of a sphere.

@Oreo1000 : Its easy.. In your particle flow tree you have a Display Node. Click on it and on right hand side you get options for changing display type from ticks to lines and many more..

is there a way to have this rain paused like a matrix style bullet time style so its all paused mid fall and splash?

@BledsoeBluvd : you will need to use mesher for that.. and convert that into editable poly at any point you want

its a nice tutorial but rain is not displaying on my viewport and on rendering i can see the particles only which is on like a star shape thats it ...tell me someone what should i do
