1A Auto shows you how to remove or replace the interior door panel trim on your vehicle. You need to remove the door panel for a number of different repairs, for example door handles, window regulators, power window motors, door locks and more. This video, will help you do this.

  • I have a 88 Cherokee XJ Pioneer, I can only imagine that it could be done the same way if not easier. But thanks for posting the video anyway.

  • @TheJake3 It should be a fairly similar process. We love Jeeps over here. :)

  • Mike and 1AAuto.com...Thank you so much for making this video! It was a big help... I will continue to use your website for auto parts... thx again!

  • @fbooth6 You're welcome. Thank you for checking out our YouTube auto repair channel.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the videos, they are really helpful. You convinced me to buy parts for my jeep from 1aauto.

I have a question, I need to replace the blower motor resistor. I found it in under the passenger dashboard and saw the two wires that I need to disconnect. I am having a hard time disconnecting them, is there a trick to it? or do I just need to pull hard enough? I don't want to because I'm afraid of breaking the whole thing.

    Thanks! Keep the videos coming!!!

  • @ralongor There may be a clasp on the plug end that you need to push on. Some of the plugs have these to help to keep them attached to the resistor so that they do not wiggle free.

  • Thanks man...big help.

  • replace door speakers. thanks:)

  • Thank you. Couldn't have done it without you. Broke no clips!

  • thx for posting!

  • Thanks for posting this video. I had seen a picture description, but this is much better. I have a 2000, and all of my locks are making the quacking noise. The passenger front quit working.

Just a note, 7 of the 11 clips broke when I was removing the panel. They look nothing like the ones in this video. Checking a dealer site, they claimed the clips were designed for 1 time use only! Also a dealer wanted nearly $6/clip! But I found some at an auto parts store and made them work.
