The purpose of the Greenbush Title III/ESOL Consortium is to help ensure that children who are Limited English Proficient (LEP) attain English proficiency, develop high levels of academic attainment in English and meet the same challenging State academic standards as all children are expected to meet.
In accordance with the No Child Left Behind Act, Greenbush is working with member districts to provide the high quality language instructional programs that are based on scientific research and demonstrate an increase in: * the student's English proficiency, and * the student's academic achievement in the core academic subjects.
