You underestimate civilians and WAY overestimate the military. You also don't take into account military defectors or possible supply lines for resistance supplied by some military allies. In reply to your "Machine gun" quote, you don't need a reason you have a right to, although legislation has restricted them to class three license holders. His government (the DHS is government) has bought 1.6 BILLION rounds of ammunition. They have also purchased several thousand AR style rifles. Not to mention several hundred armored vehicles. Your condescension is very unbecoming. Who is declaring war against the government? No one is saying the government is getting "tyrannical" now. Many people are concerned that if you start taking away a right, i.e. the 2nd amendment, it will make it too easy to abridge or take away the others.

and to answer your question, no I am not a delusional paranoid. I just know that in history governments have gone tyrannical. A government is nothing without the support of the people. You brought up Nazi Germany for example, the reason why the Nazi's were powerful was because of the public. They heavily supported the regime. Another example is Syria, Assad is still in power and in control because majority of the people in Syria support him.
