Scenes from the film Uprising by Jon Avnet. This film follows the Jewish Fighting Organization and it's struggle. During the uprising there was a second main group called the ZZW Jewish Military Union that acquired 2 mounted machine guns as well a several submachine guns supplied by the individuals in the AK Arma Krajowa home army that allowed the ZZW to inflict heavy losses against the Germans. In reality the scale of fighting was much larger then portrayed in the movie, with official death toll of German soldiers at over 600.

Your facts are wrong. The Germans did not lose 600 killed. Maybe, maybe 300 casualties, to include few killed.The Germans had overwhelming numbers and firepower.

Actors today can't act any more. Extremely bad acting, very poor artistic quality! Czech film of the 1960 beat all Holly wood or American production. It is really disappointing. Great story but poor acting, poor directing. Watch the Czech film Modlitba pro Kateřinu Horovitzovou (A Prayer for Katarina Horovitz) - 1965 you will see the great difference. It is on youtube just search for it, with English Subtitle.
