When Using The Button Plugs. Should The Extra Wiring In The Stick Be Left Out In The Open? Can Leaving The Wiring Out Harm Anything?

for the seimitsu screw on buttons.. for the SE version, does it still need to be ground down> i think mine has an indent in the bracket straight from madcatz.

o i see what the dust cover is, cant i use my stock dust and shaft covers that came with my se?
sorry for all the questions, never done this before and just wanna make sure i do it right since im voiding my warranty

The stock shaft cover and dust cover should work. I don't see why not. If I had an SE, I could tell you for sure.

how long do sanwa buttons last? cause u were saying that buttons "fail"?

The buttons are rated for approximately 1 million presses. The RG versions of the buttons are said to be rated for 5 million presses.
