FRUITS and VEGETABLES World Tour ...and I NEED A LAPTOP!

My fruit & vegetable world tour will be done in sections, not all back-to-back, with the first part being me biking down the west coast next month, April 2010! My intention with this tour is to spread my simple love for fruits & vegetables everywhere I go, and with whomever I meet!

To continue to upload videos on a daily basis while on tour on my bike, I need your help in getting a laptop! http://LAPTOP.life-regenerator.com I did have a laptop donated to me, but unfortunately as it was on its last leg—it was an old Mac PowerBook—it completely died after only getting to use it a couple of times...and even when it was 'alive' it had such limited memory* in it that it could hardly do anything. :(

During the detox group I led in LA last month I was borrowing Ashleigh's MacBook Air and found that it would be the perfect kind of laptop for me to use on the road due to it being small, lightweight, and—a Mac! I only know how to use Macs, and as I'm not extremely computer literate to begin with and prefer keeping my focus on helping people get healthy, I'll be sticking with Macs. :D http://LAPTOP.life-regenerator.com

I know there may be some resistance to me asking for help in getting this laptop, and that's fine! I ONLY need help from people who have an interest in helping me AND who are able to help me, so if you don't have an interest and/or you aren't able to help me, then no worries. :D

I do want everyone to know that the ONLY thing I use any computer for is to work on this YouTube channel! i.e., NO games, NO nothing, EXCEPT for all things related to this YouTube channel and its my viewers, meaning YOU, via uploading videos on a daily basis and answering as many of your comments and messages as possible via YouTube, Facebook & Email.

By the way, before I met Krista in the summer of 2006, I didn't even know how to type! (Krista is my partner and works behind the scenes on this channel as well.) I also didn't even have an email address or know what that was...and not only did I NOT own a computer, I did NOT even know how to USE a computer...I also didn't even really "know" what the internet was...I had only briefly witnessed others using it! At that time I was living in the woods in a very small 13-foot beat-up trailer near my parents house in the middle of nowhere...and I also didn't even have a cell phone...the only technology that I had was a pager for my window/roof/gutter-cleaning business! So my point is that THE ONLY REASON WHY I NEED A LAPTOP IS TO KEEP THIS CHANNEL RUNNING WHILE I'M ON THE ROAD! If I had it my way, I would upload videos to YouTube straight from my brain & my heart, but alas, it doesn't work that way, my friends. I'd rather be out in nature breathing in fresh air than inside playing games on a computer or mindlessly surfing the internet, and as I'm only able to handle so many hours at the computer every day, I ONLY use computers for WORK on this channel...to HELP YOU... Can you dig it? I hope that you understand! :D

Asking for a macbook air is silly. You can get an Acer Netbook for $250. It will be lighter and smaller than a Macbook air. Good luck though. I cant wait to see your bike trip.

Leaning towards a MacBook now, not the air. I can't do the PC thing bro, read the vid's info section to learn more! Krista says we'd have to spend 1,000 hours training me to learn a PC as it took her at least that across several years to learn a Mac & I still don't know much! Plus she has a MacBook Pro & I've been using her 4-yr old iMac so it's important that all of our computers work well together. Thx for the tip tho as I'm sure it will come in handy for someone else's situation! Peace, Dan

With a computer though you get what you pay for. Acer is not a very good computer imo, They break very easily from my experience.

Dan don't worry about what others might think about you asking for money or things like a laptop. I think most ppl on here know your trying to help ppl first and if u can make a little money along the ride then thats great too, plus you got bills too. Do what u gotta do, we know where your heart is at.
