There was a monterous pillow rock at the end of the Class IV middle section. Videos of the lower and middle part of the class IV part, with about 200 yards of Class II+ to III big water wave trains below this.

Nice video, I just made a video response from our trip a couple weeks ago when the Rome gage was at 18,000 cfs (nearly twice flood stage). Cabin Rapid looks a little different. Great story of the low water trip.

Awesome Series! Can't say just how much I enjoyed it. My father and I float the Bruneau and Jarbidge Sections every year. We have never taken the time to video. Watching this makes me want to slow down a bit and get a little more out of the trip. Thanks for posting! Keep Padling!

Thanks for sharing your video! Thanks for watching the Deep Creek Series and the compliment. Hope you experienced some good weather. Earliest we've run the Owyhee was the end of April, but looks like it will be another late put-in for us this year, as we await warmer temps. I would have liked to have seen the lower end of Cabin Rapid, "Thunder Rock" in your run. With flows as high as you were running it, much would have been under water, but I wonder, was that last boulder still visible?

Remarkable! I'm so feeling the journey. The only Positive thing I can get out of the low number of views is that it will be kept from those that would ignore the majestic beauty and trash it. Other than That.. I think every body on the planet should see this! BTW, I give "Local Owners" respect too!

@Tigeraction08 The number of views is low by youtube standards perhaps, but considering how few people are able to access this country, or even know about it, it's probably not surprising.
