A Nobel peace prize winner's appeal - 10 December 2008

Martti Ahtisaari, Finland's former president and international mediator, has been awarded the Nobel peace prize. In his acceptance speach in Norway, Ahtisaari called on Barack Obama, the US president-elect, to do more in order to bring peace to the Middle East. Al Jazeera's Hamish MacDonald reports.

President Carter got the peace prize too. You know Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace prize twelve days after taking office. Upon acceptance of winning it, Obama was praised by the committee, "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy". . They also gave the peace prize to Yasser Arafat, the leader of the PLO, the best known terrorist organization on the globe. This is like giving it to David Duke, the former Grand Wizard of the KKK.

Martti Ahtisaari received this peace prize for the rape of the Serbs in Kosovo, he didn't do it for free though. Albanians call him the King of Albania, history repeats itself. Hitler stole Kosovo away from the Serbs in WWII and gave it to the Albanians in WWII, under Martti Ahtisaari's watch the Albanians of Kosovo destroyed over 300 Serbian Orthodox Churches and Monasteries, The Albanians murdered thousands of Serb civilians also under his watch. To this the west rewards the Noble Peace Prize?
