  • I went to my local paintball guru and asked for his advice in his all knowing wisdom of everything paintball related.

He said "what the fuck is palmers?"

  • @Wabaanimkii LOL, then he can't claim the title of guru.

  • With duel PPS regs, how many shots can I expect out of a 9oz Co2 tank?

    I just decided I want a blazer. I plan on running a 9 and a 10 round stick feed.

Man maybe I should rethink this. I'm in college. I have a low paying job, and I need to fix my car and move out. Should I really spend 800 dollars on a marker?

    Yes.

  • @Wabaanimkii LOL if you want a gun, buy it, whatever gun it is :) If I ever get another palmer, it will be a nasty houndstooth, hurricane or typhoon. How many shots, hard to say, seems like I would get about 1200 shots from a full 20oz and a single reg, so I would guess mabey 600 shots from a full 9oz with dual regs. But you won't really know until you go do your own efficiency test. I also wouldn't use CO2 at all on a Blazer if you're shooting in cold weather.

  • Great Mechanical marker. They're not fancy looking, but they work well !

The BEST part of a Palmer's gun is, each one is built custom order - you can get whatever option, or feed you like. This makes the Blazer - or any Palmer - a very personal marker.

Price is not really a Con when you're dealing with custom markers - and you get what you pay for - it's essentially the ultimate mechanical marker out of box.

A Blazer is like a Phantom, they rock right out of the box.

  • I want one of these so bad

  • I just ordered a Pug and I'm looking forward to it coming in. although I got it with the bottomline option I feel like I should have gotten the 12 gram version... I heard you can convert it so it's okay. My next gun I want is either a Pyre, a Houdstooth, or a Typhoon.

  • Good review. I will contend with a few things though. First off, I would say that a Blazer should be getting way better efficiency than a PMR or Ion. Spool valves in general have pretty inefficient, I'd say not much better than a Tippmann. Also, the reason you were having problems with CO2 in cold weather is due to the fact that the pressure in a CO2 tank drops when it gets cold. If it drops too far, then it won't have enough force to cycle the gun.

  • Thanks for the review mate!
